Though Google is the more popular search engine, Bing provides comparable results. As a promotion, Bing actually created something called Bing it On, which is a blind comparison between Bing and Google where you pick the results you like better and then it tells you if the results were from Bing or Google. According to the Bing results, people actually preferred Bing to Google 2 to 1. Regardless of this, Google is so popular that it’s been turned into a verb, and it’s unlikely that Bing will overtake Google. They both have very fast search times and generally return relevant results.

Out of the websites listed, Youtube, Facebook, Wikipedia, Reddit, and Yahoo are all web 2.0 sites. I think that being web 2.0 sites is one of the big reasons these sites are the most popular. People like the ability to upload their own content, comment on other peoples content, and collaborate with each other. Social Networking sites are popular because they allow people to connect with each other regardless of distance. I makes a lot of sense that Google is the number one site on the list, it’s basically the gateway to the entire rest of the internet and most people use it multiple times a day.
Gmail Post
Gmail is a popular free email service run by Google. One of the reasons gmail is such a great email platform to use is that is integrated with other Google programs like Google hangouts, Google drive, and Google Wallet. Gmail accounts can be used to quickly sign up for many websites such as Blogger and Facebook. It is widely utilized by businesses, especially startups and equally popular with private individuals. It’s incredibly user friendly and its also very easy to keep track of multiple accounts as you can switch back and forth between the accounts all on the same page.
Welcome to the Thunderdome
Hey, hi, hello, welcome to my mental health blog. My name is Kayla and I was first diagnosed with major depressive disorder when I was 13. Over the last 16 years, I have gone through a myriad of treatments, medications, and therapy. With the help of a lot of introspection and seemingly endless practice, I have learned how to cope with my disease. This blog is going to be about mental health, antidepressants, awkward conversations with therapists, and overall recovery. I won't pretend to be an expert, everything on this blog is strictly my opinion, almost always backed up by experience, and often backed up by super neat medical science stuff. Anyway, I hope you enjoy what I post here, I'll try at the very least to be entertaining.
