Out of the websites listed, Youtube, Facebook, Wikipedia, Reddit, and Yahoo are all web 2.0 sites. I think that being web 2.0 sites is one of the big reasons these sites are the most popular. People like the ability to upload their own content, comment on other peoples content, and collaborate with each other. Social Networking sites are popular because they allow people to connect with each other regardless of distance. I makes a lot of sense that Google is the number one site on the list, it’s basically the gateway to the entire rest of the internet and most people use it multiple times a day.
